Microphone Preamplifier Built For A Client

Since the client is legally blind, the controls were made to feel as different as possible from one another. Unlike round knobs, the chicken-head style gain knob allows him to sense the exact position of the knob by touch.

Mic Preamp Built For Myself

Just like the preamp above but with features tailored to my specific use case, including a level meter and a set of knobs I reused from an old home stereo amp. It has both an input and output transformer, and it uses a discrete op amp to produce the gain.

Floor-Standing Speaker Pair

Designed and built entirely from scratch, this project took almost three years to finish. I had to learn quite a bit about speaker design in order to make this happen. The end result is a great-sounding set of hi-fi speakers that compete with commercial high-end speaker brands.

Bookshelf Speaker Pair

Using leftover wood from the floor-standing speaker project, I also designed and built this second pair of speakers from scratch. They still need some final tweaks but already sound pretty good.
